I stand for reducing and eliminating state and federal regulations on business owners.

 

I believe less government regulations will help business owners focus on improving products and customer service. Thereby, enabling business to expand and increase profits which ultimately helps all Texans as it increases jobs and increases state revenues.

 

I believe when conventional economic policies fail, it becomes necessary to reevaluate and discard antiquated procedures. Government spending fails to stimulate economic growth because every dollar Congress "injects" into the economy must first be taxed or borrowed. Thus, government "stimulus spending policies" merely redistributes existing income and wealth, doing nothing to increase income, productivity or employment. In addition, federal expenditures weaken the private sector by directing valuable resources toward less productive uses and thus impeded income growth.

 

If elected, I will support bills that are economically justified and will clearly benefit the economy and overall business environment of Texas. I will not support and I will fight against legislation that will place unwarranted restrictions and requirements on the business owner.
